In late 2016, while researching vintage Pokémon merchandise, Grace noticed that there was very little known about the Pokémon Center NY store and decided to start a Weebly blog where she could document what info she could find. About a week or so later, while researching Pokémon Center NY event distributions, Julie found Grace‘s Weebly blog and volunteered to work with her to build it into something more substantial. Together, the two ladies wrote what became The Pokémon Center NY Historical Website. After some wonderful developments in archiving the Pokémon Center NY’s “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!” Station, in January 2020, Julie and her partner, Aaron, completely overhauled The Pokémon Center NY Historical Website to pay homage to the original design of the partially-lost official Pokémon Center NY website. This current version of The Pokémon Center NY Historical Website launched on February 1st, 2020.

In the years since, Julie has continued to update this website with any new developments that she uncovers. As always, the mission of this website continues to be keeping the history of the Pokémon Center NY archived for all to see and enjoy!

If you have any personal photos or videos of your time at the Pokémon Center NY store that you’d like to share, Julie continues to check all emails, every day, and would be happy to add your contributions to this digital archive!
